It to cold outside the snow was  horrible,

In Rodriguez"s essay he uses public and private language to relate to bilingual education
by explaining his experience dealing with emigrant household, a foreign school,and different
people.

When in public his family spoke a hesitant ,accented , not always grammatical English. When
 at home they spoke Spanish where they where comfortable with conversation.
When talking with his family he was comfortable because he spoke Spanish what he knew.

When he started school in the USA he had to learn a new language .When speaking
 english, he was  very uncomfortable . He was Hearing the different sound of
Spanish and english. Trying to understand why he had to learn a new language
